Hello, I’m Sara Stansberry.

A woman with dark hair wearing a white button-up shirt and light blue jeans standing in front of an ornate metal gate, smiling at the camera and holding a tote bag.

I remember that ordinary day when I chose to redefine the rest of my life. It wasn't marked by a dramatic, cinematic collapse, but rather a slow, steady dimming – a gradual distancing from my own voice, my dreams, and my desires. But on this ordinary day, I made a decision that feeling this way wasn’t an option for the rest of my life.

Amidst the chaos of a crumbling marriage, financial struggles, and the overwhelming demands of motherhood, I felt lost. I was a good girl, doing all the 'right' things – but inside, I was breaking. My journey, riddled with hard choices and emotional pain, led to a profound realization: true joy has to come first from knowing who you are.

This was not about finding a new life but rediscovering the woman I was before the world told me who to be. My path was not smooth. It involved confronting my past, dealing with codependency, and learning the art of emotional sobriety. I had to let go of a marriage not because I wanted to but because I needed to breathe, to live. I later became a certified life coach, not as a new career but as a part of my journey to understand.

This journey is ongoing; it's about daily learning, accepting my imperfections, and embracing a life of authenticity and courage. My story is a mirror to many women in their middle years – it's a narrative of hope, resilience, and the enduring strength of a woman's spirit.

“I started this work because I know what it feels like to dim your light until you no longer recognize yourself. As a certified life-coach, I help women step out of survival and into their stories—women in the middle of divorce, recovery, identity shifts, parenting, and so much more.”

My Why.

A woman with dark brown hair, wearing a white shirt and light blue jeans, stands smiling looking down, holding a small bag while standing in front of an ornate metal gate with decorative animal figures.

I’m a storyteller, first and foremost, because real healing lives in honest stories and shared truths. I started this work because I know what it feels like to dim your light until you no longer recognize yourself.

I didn’t set out to become a coach. I became a coach because I needed someone to help me unravel the tangled emotional patterns I lived in—codependency, unexamined family roles, the pressure to always be “enough.”

Today, certified and deeply experienced, I help women step out of survival and into their stories—women in the middle of divorce, recovery, identity shifts, parenting, and so much more.

Because someone had to tell the truth first. And maybe, just maybe, someone needs your truthful story next.

You’re in the right place if…

  • You keep shrinking yourself to avoid conflict, but it only leaves you feeling resentful and invisible

  • You second-guess every decision because you don’t trust your gut anymore.

  • You stay in relationships that drain you because you’re terrified of being alone.

  • You say “yes” when you mean “no”—because peace always feels safer than truth.

  • You feel like you’re living a life someone else wrote for you.

  • You give so much in your relationships, but still feel unseen and unappreciated.

  • You avoid hard conversations because you’re afraid they’ll lead to rejection or abandonment.

  • You’re stuck in a cycle of overgiving and emotional burnout that never seems to end.

  • You know something has to change, but you’re scared of what that might cost you.

  • You feel like you’ve lost yourself trying to be who everyone else needed you to be.
